When?

Our Timeline

This whole project started as an idea before Christmas 2022 – fueled by the rising costs of energy, how that was affecting vulnerable people … and the wider impact on a number of community groups and premises.

One thing is certain: on an expected timeframe, this is more of a four course meal than a takeaway snack! 

There is no point in rushing our plans: there are key milestones – and we are now passing some of those – with successful outcomes.

The right ingredients ...

We are aware of well-meaning projects that launch and fail because of a failure in planning. It is an old adage: “Fail to plan, and you plan to fail.“

We are ever-conscious that our Board and Working Group have volunteered their time to get us this far. All are busy people – and many work full time in their normal roles.

We are investing where we can to take this exciting project forward at a realistic pace, conscious of the importance it has in the long-term sustainability of our Trust and the support we deliver.
