The Food Station project was borne out of community collaboration fostered by CuparNow. 

In 2024 – after almost two years of engagement, discussion and research – the project was presented to Cupar Development Trust and we agreed to adopt the initiative and set about creating a working group of volunteers to help take things forward.

The Food Station Mission

The working group of volunteers agreed on the following ‘mission statement’ to encompass all the aspects of the Food Station aspiration:

“A food & drink destination for all that will transform Cupar’s town centre, regenerate our market town’s fortunes and build a sustainable hub to support our community.”

All on our working group gave freely of their time to take us through to the launch of a Business case Study that ran from April-July 2025.
